First PE offers show up from Egyptian ETHYDCO in Turkey
Players have only reported LLDPE offers for this brand new origin, while no HDPE grades were offered to Turkey for the time being.
A manufacturer who was offered this origin commented, “We plan to try samples and once we receive the required approval, Egyptian PE is likely to be a regular supply source for us as a duty free and nearby option.”
ETHYDCO has 460,000 tons/year ethylene and 400,000 tons/year integrated PE capacity. The producer’s PE plant houses two production lines: a 200,000 tons/year HDPE/LLDPE swing line and a 200,000 tons/year HDPE line.
