INEOS delays first ethane shipment from US to Europe

According to market sources, INEOS has delayed its first shale gas-based ethane shipments from the US to Europe to early February. Initially, the company was expected to make its first shipment to Europe in late 2015. INEOS reportedly will be the first company to import US ethane for its crackers in Europe.
The imported ethane from Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania will be used in the company’s Rafnes cracker in Norway.
