Import PP, PE prices to Kenya jump in February

Players in Kenya reported February offers with increases after prices tracked a steady path for January. According to local sources, prices are rising due to delays in shipments, while trading activity remains limited which capped the hikes.
February PE prices recorded $50/ton increases and PP $70/ton when compared to January at $1050-1060/ton for LDPE, $970-990/ton for LLDPE, $950-970/ton for HDPE film, $980-1000/ton for HDPE b/m and inj., $$1010-1030/ton for PPH raffia and inj., $1050-1070/ton for PPH film and fibre., $1090-1100/ton for PPBC, all on a CFR Kenya, 90 days basis.
