In the United Arab Emirates, import offers surfaced with minor decreases as compared to last month.

The overall ranges from two Saudi suppliers were at $1580-1600/ton for PPBC, $1670-1690/ton for PPRC, $1480-1500/ton for raffia and inj., $1640-1700/to for LDPE, $1350-1410/ton for LLDPE, $1350-1450/ton for HDPE film, $1420-1500/ton for HDPE b/m and $1470-1500/ton for HDPE inj., on a CIF Dubai.

“The high end of the range indicates offers from a major Saudi producer. However, we are expecting them to revise their offers as they are still very high and not compatible with the market’s current state,” commented a trader.

Meanwhile the country’s local PP supplier revealed their new PP offers with $50-70/ton decreases as compared to their May levels.

New offers were at $1440-1460/ton for raffia and inj., and $1580-1590/ton for PPBC on a FD, Dubai.
