India postpones oral hearing for AD probe on S-PVC imports

India’s Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has announced the postponement of the oral hearing for the ongoing anti-dumping investigation into imports of PVC suspension resins. The hearing was originally scheduled for December 4, 2024.

The investigation covers imports from China, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and the United States. A new date for the hearing will be announced in due course.

The probe, initiated in March 2024, follows complaints by domestic producers about the adverse effects of low-priced imports on the local market. Earlier this month, provisional anti-dumping duties were proposed on S-PVC imports from the mentioned countries.
