According to market sources, India’s Materials Chemicals and Performance Intermediaries took its No 2 PTA plant at Haldia offline due to a planned maintenance.
The maintenance, which reportedly started on March 15, is expected to last about a month.
The No 2 PTA plant has a production capacity of 800,000 tons/year.
