India’s Reliance takes PTA line at Hazira offline

Market sources report that India’s Reliance Industries shut one of the three PTA lines at Hazira plant in Gujarat on February 9 due to a technical problem.
The issue was reportedly not a serious one and the company is planning to resume operations next week.
The line has a production capacity of 750,000 tons/year of PTA, apart from the other two lines at the same site with a combined production capacity of 510,000 tons/year.
