Indian Oil signs MoU to develop petchem complex

According to India’s local media reports, Indian Oil signed a memorandum of understanding with Industrial Development Corp. of Odisha (IDCO) to develop a plastics park in Paradip, India.
Accordingly, the company is expected to construct a PP plant with a capacity of 700,000 tons/year by 2018.
The Indian government reportedly invested INR3,150,000,000 ($48,3 million) in the complex to boost the country’s downstream growth by 14-15%.
