Indian Oil to restart PP, PE, MEG plants

According to market sources, state-run Indian Oil Corp is planning to restart its 600,000 tons/year of PP, 650,000 tons/year of PE and 320,000 tons/year of MEG plants in Panipat in mid-August following a planned maintenance.
The company’s PP plant consists of two lines with a production capacity of 300,000 tons/year, each. Meanwhile, the company’s PE capacity includes a 350,000 tons/year HDPE/LDPE swing plant and a 300,000 tons/year HDPE plant.
