Indian producer raises local PVC prices

According to players in India, a domestic producer raised its local PVC prices by INR1500/ton ($23/ton) as of October 1. The producer currently offers PVC at INR74,000/ton ($1128/ton) on an ex-warehouse India, cash basis.
A trader attributed higher prices to the sudden increase of the US dollar against the Indian rupee.
