Indorama declares force majeure on PET supply from Rotterdam

According to a letter sent to its customers, Thailand-based Indorama Ventures declared force majeure on PET supplies from Rotterdam, the Netherlands due to technical issues occurred on November 15 and November 23.
Although the exact duration of the force majeure was undisclosed, it will probably remain in place in December.
According to the company’s website, the facility has an older plant with a 190,000 tons/year production capacity, while the newer line can produce over 200,000 tons/year of PET.
