Ineos resumes PP, PE operations at Lavera site

According to a source close to the company, Ineos has restarted its HDPE plant at Lavera site in France following a planned maintenance shutdown as of November 26. The company already resumed operations at its PP plant and the Naphtachimie stream cracker at the same site as of mid-November.

The planned shutdown at the company’s PP, PE plants at site was initially slated to last until early November.

The Lavera site houses a 230,000 tons/year HDPE and a 140,000 tons/year PP plant. Naphtachimie cracker, which is a 50:50 joint venture between Ineos and Total, is able to produce 800,000 tons/year of ethylene and 555,000 tons/year of propylene.
