Initial December propylene contracts settle in US

According to market sources, initial December propylene contracts have settled with decreases from November in the US. The settlements were down by 8 cents/lb ($176/ton) at 42 cents/lb ($926/ton) for polymer-grade propylene (PGP) and 40.5 cents/lb ($893/ton) for chemical-grade propylene, all FD USG.
The falling spot prices over the past month were cited as the main cause behind the lower settlements.
Meanwhile, spot polymer-grade propylene prices in the US were last reported at around $821/ton (37.25 cents/lb) FD USG.
