Initial March benzene contract settles in Europe

According to market sources, an initial benzene contract has been settled in Europe. The new contract has been settled with a decrease of around €24.50/ton ($26.60/ton at the current parity) at around €527/ton ($574/ton at the current parity). In Europe, February benzene contracts had been settled at €551.50/ton ($601.50/ton) on average.
In Europe, spot benzene prices are reported at $580-585/ton CIF NWE, up around $5-10/ton from a week earlier.
