Initial May benzene contract settles in Europe

According to market sources, an initial May benzene contract settled in Europe. The new contract level was at €754/ton ($821/ton with recent parity) FD NWE, up €9/ton ($10/ton) from April.
In Europe, spot benzene prices were recently quoted at around $800/ton CIF NWE, down $20/ton on a weekly basis and from early April.
