Initial May ethylene contract settles in US

Market sources report that an initial May ethylene contract has been settled in the US. The new contract was agreed with a decrease of 0.5 cents/lb ($11/ton) from April at 30 cents/lb ($661/ton).
Market players had been expecting the new contract to settle with rollovers to decreases from the previous month.
