Initial Nov propylene contract settles in US

According to market sources, an initial November propylene contract was agreed in the US with a 1 cent/lb ($22/ton) increase over October at 49 cents/lb ($1080/ton) for polymer-grade propylene (PGP) and 47.5 cents/lb ($1047/ton) for chemical-grade propylene, all FD USG.
The increase came in line with the outages at the US Gulf Coast crackers and plants resulting from Hurricane Harvey.
