Initial Sept propylene contract settles in Europe

According to market sources, an initial propylene contract in Europe has been settled for September today. The new settlement stands at €830/ton ($996/ton with recent parity) FD NWE and indicates an increase of €40/ton ($48/ton) over August settlement.
The higher outcome of new contract was already expected among European players as spot propylene prices in the region rose by €50/ton ($60/ton) during the month of August.
