Initial September ethylene contract settles in Europe

According to market sources, initial September ethylene contract settled in Europe. The new settlement stood at €995/ton ($1189/ton) FD NWE, up €30/ton from August.
In Europe, spot ethylene prices are currently reported at around €1020/ton FD NWE ($1218/ton), down €17/ton ($20/ton) from a week earlier.
