Initial September ethylene contracts settle in US

According to market sources, initial ethylene contracts for September settled with increases for the fourth month in a row in the US.
Accordingly, new September ethylene settlements were reported at 33.75 cents/lb ($744/ton), up by 5 cents/lb ($110/ton) from August.
In the US, spot ethylene prices were last reported at around 22-22.50 cents/lb ($485-496/ton).
