Iran, Italy sign deal on new PP unit

According to media reports, Iran’s Ardabil Petrochemical Company and Italy’s Techint Engineering signed an agreement on constructing a new petrochemical unit in Iran.
As part of the $40 million agreement, Techint will provide assistance in technical operations and staff training for the Iranian company’s new gas-to-PP project.
The construction of the new 500,000 tons/year unit is expected to be completed in 18 months.
