Iran’s PRTC signs deal with Norner for PP technology

According to Shana, Iran’s Petrochemical Research and Technology Company (PRTC) signed an agreement with Norway’s Norner, a global leader of Industrial R&D services in polymers, for the transfer of PP production technology.

The agreement includes the development of PP production and related catalysts.

Iran has a current PP production capacity of 965,000 tons/year and the country is aiming to increase it to 4 million tons/year as part of its six-year development plan, the reports revealed.
