Iran’s new PS plant readying for startup

According to market sources, Iran’s Takht Jamshid Petrochemical Company’s new PS plant in Assalouyeh, the construction of which lasted for 18 months, is ready to start commercial production.
The plant has a production capacity of 120,000 tons/year of expandable PS as well as 65,000 tons/year of other PS grades such as general purpose and high impact PS.
The new plant had reportedly been conducting test-runs since August 2016.
