According to media reports, Iran will start a new round of talks with France’s Total and Britain’s Shell during the 15th International Energy Forum which will be held in Algeria from 26 to 28 September 2016.

Iran’s Oil Minister is expected to have separate meetings with Total’s CEO Patrick Pouyanné and Shell’s vice president for trading Mike Muller. Oil sales and inviting new tenders for Iranian oil and gas projects will be the main subjects of these talks.

Iran is selling an average of 160 to 200 barrels per day (bpd) to Total and a deal has already been signed with Shell as well.
