According to media reports, Iraq’s oil exports hits all time high of 3.187 million barrels per day (bpd) in June, up 1.3% from 3.145 million bpd in the previous month, bringing the country’s total export amount to 95.612 million barrels over the last month. Iraqi crude oil production, meanwhile, reached a record high of 4.388 bpd in June, according to Bloomberg.

Iraq’s record high production in June reportedly helped output from Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) reach the highest level since June 2012. OPEC countries’ oil production rose to three year high of 31.60 million bpd from a revised 31.30 million bpd in May as OPEC countries push to expand their market share relative to higher-cost producers.
