EU launches antidumping probe on MEG imports from US, S. Arabia

According to an official press release, the European Commission has initiated an antidumping probe on MEG imports from the US and Saudi Arabia, alleging that imports from these countries are sold at less than fair value in the European market.
The complaint was issued on August 31, 2020 by European MEG producers, providing that increasing imports from these countries are causing material injury on their part.
The investigation of dumping and injury will cover the period from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, meanwhile.
