Italy freight rate update

According to Aprile SpA in Bologna, Italy, freight rates between Northeast Asia and the Mediterranean have been revised downwards following hike attempts at the beginning of the month. New freight rates were reported at $800-850/container for 20’ containers and at $1500-1700/container for 40’ containers effective as of January 15, 2016. Sources reported that freight rates are expected to remain stable until the beginning of the Chinese New Year.
