Italy’s commercial vehicle sales increase in June

According to the foreign automakers association, UNRAE, Italy’s commercial vehicle sales increased by 10.8% in June on a yearly basis. A total of 16,280 sales were reported for June when compared to 14,693 in the same period of last year.

The data also showed the country’s commercial vehicle sales climbed by 6.4% in the first half of 2017 with 89,550 new units compared with 84,154 units registered in the same period of last year.

According to Italian Transport Ministry, the country’s new car sales were also up by 12.9% to 187,642 in June year-on-year while they were up by 8.9% in the first half of 2017 year-on-year to 1.14 million units.
