Italy’s commercial vehicle sales rise 32% in April

According to data released by Italy’s carmaker association UNRAE, commercial vehicle sales in Italy rose 32% on the year to reach 14,511 units in April, posting a 29th consecutive monthly gain in commercial vehicle sales. In the first two months of the year, sales climbed 29.6% to 24,687 units compared with the same period of last year. In March, commercial vehicle sales increased 34% on the year, while sales rose 31% in February.
In 2015, commercial sales in Italy had climbed 13% to 134,234 units thanks to government initiatives encouraging purchasing in its new budget plan during the last two months. UNRAE expects commercial vehicle sales to expand by 15% this year.
