Italy’s retail sales down in April
The data showed that sales of non-food products posted a decrease of 0.7% while sales of food products increased by 4.1% in April.
Meanwhile, the country’s retail sales were up by 1.2% in April on a yearly basis after a revised drop of 0.5% in March. This was also the first yearly increase the country’s retail sales posted in five months.
