January MEG contracts fully settle in Europe

Market sources report that January MEG contracts have been fully settled in Europe. The new contract was agreed with an increase of €150/ton ($160/ton) from December at €915/ton ($965/ton) FD NWE.
The increase was attributed to the bullish MEG prices in Asia as well as the €45/ton higher settlement of January ethylene contracts.
