January MEG contracts nominated in Asia

Market sources reported that several producers have nominated their January MEG contracts to Asia with increases. MEGlobal nominated its January MEG contracts at $1020/ton CFR, up $120/ton from December. Shell announced its new contract price at $1030/ton CFR Asia, up $130/ton from December while Sabic nominated its January MEG contracts at $1050/ton CFR, up $210/ton from December.
In Asia, spot MEG prices were recently reported at around $850/ton on a CFR China basis, down $23/ton from a week earlier.
