Japan’s JX Nippon settles Dec benzene contract

According to market sources, Japan’s JX Nippon Oil & Energy has settled its December benzene contract in Asia with an increase of $85/ton from the November settlement at $735/ton CFR.
It had initially nominated its December benzene contract at $745/ton CFR Asia.
Meanwhile, Asia’s spot benzene prices are reported at around $765/ton on an FOB South Korea basis, up $30/ton from a week earlier and $125/ton from a month earlier.
