Japan’s JX Nippon settles Feb benzene contract

According to market sources, Japan’s JX Nippon Oil & Energy has settled its February benzene contract in Asia with an increase of $165/ton from the January settlement at $1010/ton CFR.
It had initially nominated its February benzene contract at $1020/ton CFR Asia.
Meanwhile, Asia’s spot benzene prices are reported at around $1000/ton on an FOB South Korea basis, up $20/ton from a week earlier and $180/ton from a month earlier.
