Japan's JX Nippon settles Jan benzene contract in Asia

According to market sources, Japan’s JX Nippon Oil & Energy (JXTG) has settled its January benzene contract at CFR $535/ton, down by $45/ton from its initial nomination and $125/ton lower than the December settlement.
In Asia, spot benzene prices were last reported at around $510/ton on an FOB Korea basis, down remarkably by around $150/ton from the beginning of December.
