Japan’s JX Nippon settles January benzene contract

According to market sources, Japan’s JX Nippon Oil & Energy settled its January benzene contract at $885/ton CFR Asia, unchanged from the December settlement.
The company had initially nominated its January benzene contract at $900/ton CFR Asia.
In Asia, spot benzene prices were last reported at around $875-880/ton on FOB South Korea basis, up around $10/ton from a week earlier.
