Japan's Kaneka plans to shut No. 1 VCM plant

According to market sources, Japan’s Kaneka is planning to shut its 260,000 tons/year No. 1 VCM plant at Takasago complex in mid-November due to annual maintenance. The maintenance is expected to last about 20 days.
Kaneka had shut its 260,000 tons/year No. 2 VCM plant in July-August period of this year due to maintenance.
