According to market sources, Japan’s Keiyo Monomer is planning to restart its VCM plant in the middle of June.
The plant is able to produce 200,000 tons/year of VCM.
The company had halted production at its plant at the end of May to coincide with an annual maintenance at Maruzen Petrochemical’s steam cracker. Maruzen supplies ethylene to Keiyo Monomer’s plant.
