Japan’s Maruzen restarts MEG plant

Market sources reported that Japan’s Maruzen Petrochemical restarted its 100,000 tons/year MEG plant in Yokkaichi on April 14, after a planned maintenance that started at the end of February.
The company is also planning to shut its 115,000 tons/year MEG plant in Chiba at the beginning of June due to a scheduled maintenance, which is expected to last for a month.
