Japan’s Tosoh awards contract to TOYO for naphtha furnace

According to a press release on the company’s website, TOYO was awarded a contract for constructing a naphtha cracking furnace at Tosoh Corp.’s Yokkaichi cracker.
The Japanese company will use CB&I Technology Inc.’s innovative Lummus technology to upgrade the 527,000 tons/year cracker.
The financial details of the cracker expansion have not been revealed.
