Karpatneftekhim restarts HDPE, PVC units in Ukraine

Market sources reported that Ukraine’s Karpatneftekhim restarted its HDPE and PVC plants in Kalush, Ukraine as scheduled, after almost a month-long turnaround.
Karpatneftekhim began shutdown procedures at its 100,000 tons/year HDPE and 300,000 tons/year PVC units on November 5. The PVC production resumed on December 7 while the restart process at the company‘s HDPE unit began on December 10.
