Kem One, Chemplast to build JV PVC plant in India

According to a release on French chlorovinyl producer Kem One’s website, Kem One and India’s Chemplast Sanmar will establish a joint venture in order to produce chlorinated PVC. The release said the JV is in the process of obtaining the required approvals.

The joint venture will be called Kem One Chemplast, of which each company will have a share of 50%.

The JV is planning to build a 22,000 tons/year CPVC plant in Karaikal, Puducherry, India.
