Kenya defers crude oil production plans

According to Reuters, Kenya decided to defer the first crude oil production and shipment until late September when the amended law, which will regulate revenue-sharing between local communities and national government, is expected to be approved by the government.
It was previously announced that the country planned to start oil production with a capacity of 2,000 barrels/day in June 2017.
