LATEST NEWS: February butadiene contract settles in Europe

According to market sources, February butadiene contract has settled in Europe. The new contract was agreed with a drop of €25/ton ($30/ton) from January at €700/ton ($851/ton with the recent parity) FD NWE.
This marked the first monthly drop in butadiene settlements after 7 consecutive months of hikes.
According to ChemOrbis data, spot butadiene prices were last reported at €770/ton ($937/ton) FD NWE, up by €30/ton ($36/ton) from late December 2020.
