LATEST NEWS: Initial January PP, PE prices announced to Indonesia

According to traders, a Southeast Asian producer announced its January PP and PE prices to Indonesia with mostly three-digit decreases when compared to December.
The producer lowered its homo-PP prices by $120/ton on a monthly basis to $1150/ton for raffia and injection, to $1180/ton for film and to $1200/ton for fibre, all on CIF Indonesia, cash basis.
As for PP copolymers, their new offers are also down by $120/ton for PPBC injection at $1250/ton and by $110/ton for PPRC injection at $1300/ton, both on CIF, cash basis. Meanwhile, the producer left its PPRC blow moulding prices stable at $1450/ton with the same terms.
Traders also reported that the producer applied decreases of $80/ton on its new LDPE film offers which currently stand at $1100/ton CIF, cash for film and at $1200/ton for coating grades. As for HDPE, their January offers plunged $140/ton from December to $1170/ton CIF, cash for film and blow moulding grades.
