LATEST NEWS: Saudi Arabian major unveils June PE prices to Turkey
The producer’s most recent offers stood at $880/ton for LLDPE c4 film and $890/ton for HDPE film, both FCA Turkey, subject to 6.5% customs duty, cash. Some players said the supplier may be open for slight discounts for HDPE amid more sufficient allocations compared to LLDPE grades.
The recent announcements represented increases of $50-70/ton from H2 May, when the producer issued an upward revision after conceding to as low as $790/ton on early May deals.
As a side note, the producer reportedly offered later shipments at around $850-860/ton CIF Turkey.
Turkish players are now waiting to hear prices of other Middle Eastern producers soon with expectations calling for monthly increases following the Saudi major.
