LATEST NEWS: Taiwanese major cuts Oct PVC prices to Asia
The producer’s new PVC K67-68 offers for October are $30/ton lower from September at $870/ton CIF India, and $40/ton lower at $845/ton CIF China and $800/ton FOB Taiwan. No volume discount is being offered by the major, as a side note.
Players in India reported that the major producers’ October allocation to the country was higher than September at around 25,000 tons. Indian buyers were expecting to see a larger decrease of up to $60/ton for October, meanwhile.
As for the Southeast Asian markets, the producer’s new K67 offer level stands at $830/ton CIF SEA, except for CIF Vietnam which is quoted at $805/ton CIF.
