LATEST NEWS: Taiwanese major increases April PVC prices to Asia

According to traders, a major Taiwanese producer has notified an increase on its April PVC offers to Asian markets. The move came as a surprise as most players were generally expecting either a rollover or a reduction in prices.

The producer’s new PVC K67-68 offers for April are $10/ton higher from March at $830/ton CIF India, at $805/ton CIF China and at $760/ton FOB Taiwan. Meanwhile, no volume discount is being offered by the major.

This marks the third consecutive month of price hikes, following increases of $20/ton for February and $30/ton for March shipments.
