Local PP and PE offers revealed higher for Oct in Saudi Arabia

Players in Saudi Arabia reported new October PP, PE offers from a local major producer with increases in line with expectations. PP offers were firmer by SAR112/ton ($30/ton) while PE prices gained SAR37/ton ($10/ton) when compared to September levels, except for LDPE prices, which remained unchanged.

Another local supplier revealed October offers with SAR75/ton ($20/ton) increases. HDPE blow moulding was the only exception as it stayed stable.

October offers are currently standing at SAR4088-4200/ton ($1089-1119/ton) for LDPE, SAR3825/ton ($1019/ton) for LLDPE, SAR3900/ton ($1039/ton) for HDPE film and inj., SAR4012-4013/ton ($1069-1070/ton) for HDPE b/m, SAR3900/ton ($1039/ton) for PPBC, SAR4275/ton ($1139/ton) for PPRC, SAR3825-4013/ton ($1019-1069/ton) for PPH raffia and inj., SAR3975-4088/ton ($1059-1089/ton) for PPH film and fibre., all on FD Jeddah, cash excluding VAT basis.
