Local PP and PE prices for April announced steady in S. Arabia

In Saudi Arabia, players reported new April offers from a major domestic producer with rollovers. “The Ramadan lull has stopped the firming trend which has started earlier, as trading activity is affected by the holy month,” opined a local source.
Following the major announcements, another local producer unveiled its new April offers with rollovers as well when compared to early March levels.
The overall range for April is currently standing at SAR4763/ton ($1459/ton) for LDPE, SAR4163/ton ($1275/ton) for LLDPE, SAR4125/ton ($1263/ton) for HDPE film, SAR4313-4388/ton ($1320-1343/ton) for HDPE b/m, SAR4275/ton ($1309/ton) for HDPE inj., SAR4238/ton ($1297/ton) for PPBC, SAR4500/ton ($1378/ton) for PPRC, SAR4163-4238/ton ($1274-1297/ton) for PP raffia and inj., SAR4313/ton ($1320/ton) for PP fibre., SAR4313-4388/ton ($1320-1343/ton) for PP film, SAR5625/ton ($1572/ton) for GPPS and SAR5813/ton ($1625/ton) for HIPS, all on FD Jeddah, cash basis.
